Top 5 tips for organising the perfect hen night

So you have been given the envious task of organising the hen night for the bride to be and you want to make it a huge success for everyone involved and be the talk of the town.  Good planning is the key to a great hen night preventing a drunken disaster and turning a potential nightmare into a good nights craic.

By following these 5 simple tips you could save yourself a little less of a headache in next morning, depending on how much Prosecco has been consumed of course.

Who to invite? – By choosing wisely here can be a real life saver, Mothers and future Mothers in Law may not wish to partake in the activities you have in mind for the group so maybe consider having a second get together for the older members but not restricted to, If you are planning a drinking night for example then the non drinker friends may wish to attend the other event, A few good examples that will be greatly appreciated are afternoon tea or a nice spa day. Everyone wants to have a great night too so we recommend asking only the closest friends and family.

Let’s theme the night – Every hen loves the chance to play dress up so a fun theme will make the night really enjoyable and make you all stand out from the crowd and make the hens and bride to be the centre of attention. Wether you want to be nuns on the run for the night or awesome super heroes.  Use your imagination and creativity to come up with the perfect dress up, Oh! Lets not forget the L plate for the bride.

Location, Location, Location – Some hen parties like to stay local and enjoy the atmosphere of their local pubs and clubs, Other great choices are weekend breaks away in Europe to cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Prague or Barcelona.  With enough notice for the hen night you can book flights and accommodation at great rates making these a very popular choice.

It’s a date! – Lastly it’s very important to choose a date that isn’t too close to the wedding day, We’d recommend 4-6 weeks prior to the big day to allow time for no further distractions for both the bride and groom. DO NOT make the mistake of having it the night before the wedding.  Trust us she will thank you
