The arrival of Kiko Milano Belfast was one of the most hotly anticipated store openings Northern Ireland has seen for years. Hundreds of make up loving consumers queued from 8am to get the first glance at the Italian Cosmetic store, where our Selfie Pod team were lucky enough to be on the VIP list and set up inside to give media, bloggers and guests an experience like no other!

THE CONCEPT

This highly-coveted brand needed something extra special to make their Belfast opening stand out. Working with ND Events, Lumina Selfie Pod team developed a socially interactive way for people to be seen at the new store and instantly share on social media sites.

The Kiko Milano Selfie Pod was developed to offer visitors at the store:

  • Pre defined hash tags #KikoBelfast
  • Instant social sharing to increase brand presence and online reach in the Northern Ireland market

RESULTS

The Kiko Milano Selfie Pod hosted visits from over 200 including media invitees, influencers and customers at the store opening.

Guests enjoyed sharing their Kiko Milano selfie straight from the Selfie Pod to their social media sites with the predefined hash tag #KikoBelfast resulting in a social reach of over 20,000 per hour.
