Since 2015, we've been helping couples and their guests make brilliant memories at weddings and events across Northern Ireland.
It started with a simple idea.
Lumina started in 2015 when my dad, Alan, set out to bring something a little different to weddings and events across Northern Ireland.
I've actually been part of Lumina since the very beginning. In those early years, I mainly worked behind the scenes on the graphic design side of the business and joined the team at events.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of being part of hundreds of weddings, parties and events. Along the way, we learned that a great photo experience isn't just about the equipment. It's about the little details, looking after people and making sure guests genuinely enjoy it.
As my dad began to step back from the business, I gradually became more involved in running Lumina before eventually taking it over.
The business has evolved since those early days, but the things that matter to us haven't changed: quality equipment, attention to detail and genuinely good service.

Hi, I'm Chris.
I've been part of Lumina since it started in 2015, although for many years I was mostly behind the scenes, working on the design side of the business and helping out at events.
My background is in graphic design, marketing and digital, so I’ve always cared about how things look and how the whole experience comes together. These days, I look after Lumina and everything that goes with it, from your first enquiry and personalised photo designs through to being there on the night.
Taking over a family business means a lot to me. I want to keep what made Lumina successful in the first place, while continuing to improve the experience and make sure every booking gets the same care and attention we'd want ourselves.
